🇹🇳 Tunisia buys 100,000 tonnes of wheat and 100,000 tonnes of feed barley

Tunisia’s state grains agency is believed to have purchased approximately 100,000 tonnes of soft wheat and 100,000 tonnes of animal feed barley from optional origins in an international tender, according to European traders.

• Soufflet: $304.89/tonne

The lowest reported wheat price was $296.91/tonne C&F.

🌾 Barley purchases:

Four consignments of 25,000 tonnes each were reportedly purchased at the following C&F prices:

• Soufflet: $291.73/tonne
• Dreyfus: $292.94/tonne
• Bunge: $293.25/tonne
• Bunge: $293.62/tonne

The lowest reported barley price was $291.73/tonne C&F.

⚠️ Black Sea supply conditions:

The agency reiterated that purchases are based on optional origins. Suppliers offering Black Sea grain cannot invoke force majeure due to fighting related to the Russia-Ukraine war and must arrange supplies from alternative origins if Black Sea shipments become unavailable.

🇯🇴 Jordan buys 60,000 tonnes of feed barley

Jordan’s state grain buyer purchased approximately 60,000 tonnes of animal feed barley in an international tender, according to European traders.
