Jordan’s state grain buyer is believed to have made no purchase in an international tender for 120,000 tonnes of milling wheat, according to European traders.

Traders said uncertainty over Black Sea export disruptions, linked to attacks on grain ships and ports by Russia and Ukraine, may have reduced participation in recent tenders.
🇩🇿 Algeria buys milling wheat in international tender
Algeria’s state grains agency OAIC purchased milling wheat in an international tender, according to European traders.

If sourced from South America, India or Australia, shipment is scheduled one month earlier.
The tender came amid severe disruption to Black Sea grain flows, with traders reporting that shipborne exports of lower-priced Russian and Ukrainian wheat had virtually stopped because of the fighting.
French wheat has also been excluded from recent Algerian tenders amid political tensions between France and Algeria.
📊 In Algeria’s previous soft wheat tender on August 5, OAIC bought up to 720,000 tonnes at around $289–290/tonne C&F.
